What I got in my Selfridges Advent Calendar

Hi Everyone,

So My Mum decided to surprise me with the Selfridges advent calendar at the beginning of December which was a complete surprise to me we shared it so each day we opened the door and took in turns and we are going to share out the stuff fairly so it wasn't all for me but I thought I would show you some of my favourite bits from what we opened. It was definitely worth it and I would recommend it as you gets lots of different types of things such as haircare, beauty, body, skincare.

As you can see there are a lot of high end products in there and this was only half of what we got, some are mini sized and some are full sized but I really am happy with what we got and I am super excited to try it all out!

What I got for Christmas 2015

Hi Everyone,

I have finally got around to writing what I got for Christmas. I am NOT posting to show off but these blogposts/youtube videos are my favourite kind to watch and I want to be able to look back on this. I am also extremely grateful for everything I received and I love my presents! Lets get started...

So I mainly asked for Primark pyjamas as they are my favourite and are a really good price! These are all from Primark except the white pyjama bottoms with gold snowflakes which are from Tesco.

These were also in my stocking and I am super excited to try out the Simple rollerball!

So I have wanted the Pink sprays for so long and one of my best friends bought me set of four minis which smell so good and are perfect for my bag! I also got some mini perfumes from my stocking and I am excited to try the Prada Candy one.

Obviously I got Chocolate and Terry's chocolate orange are my favourite so I did good

These are some small bits and bobs - A lush bath bomb, a heart mirror, manicure kit and a mug with H on which I have honestly wanted for so long!

I got some clothes, this one is a black cropped top that I got from my best friend from Topshop.

Some more perfume which I am excited to try as I have heard good things about Ghost and a Maccys bag from New York.

This was one of the presents from my Mum which is a gold and white bangle with my name engraved onto it and I love it as it is super personal!

A rose gold bracelet that I now wear every day.

This was my favourite present that I wasn't expecting as I have wanted one of these Ted Baker purses for about two year now! It is pink (my favourite colour) and the inside is rose gold, I don't even want to use it because I don't want it to get dirty!

I somehow managed to get two They're real Benefit mascaras to add to my ever growing mascara collection and I can't wait to try them!

I hope you have all had a good Christmas and a happy New Year!

Merry Christmas

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I didn't blog over Christmas, I wasn't at home and to be honest I was spending time with family and relaxing instead of worrying about the blogposts. I hope you all had a good Christmas and that you also got to spend some quality time with your loved ones.

I am planning to write some blogposts now and there is a 'What I got for Christmas' on its way as well as two 'what I got in my advent calendar' so be excited for those!

I am not sure what to post in January if I want to still upload every day so there may be four a week instead of one a day because I don't have a crazy amount of ideas of what to post!

This was a shorter post to keep you up to date but get ready for the blogposts to come!

Christmas Day Morning Routine

Hi Everyone,

So I love looking at other peoples morning routines which is why I thought I would show you mine for Christmas day!

So the first thing I do is wakeup, usually in our house someone will be up before me and I will wake up by hearing them around the house.

Then I head downstairs to go and say Merry Christmas to everyone or I will wake anyone else up who isn't already!

The first thing we do is have a bacon sandwich with a glass of champagne or if your not feeling that crazy you can go for a cup of tea! Then once everyone is finally in the lounge with their breakfast we will begin to open presents and I'm the one who hands out the presents to everyone else from under the tree and when everyone has theirs I will then begin to open mine. We open them as we get them at the same time, we don't do it one by one.

After everyone has opened their presents we will then clear up all the wrapping and everyone will start to get ready. I have written a 'Christmas day get ready with me' so go and check that out to see what I wore, what I did with my hair, and my Makeup for Christmas day!

Heres a sneak peak of what makeup I wore.

I hope you enjoyed this, I know I will enjoy looking back at this as I am really happy with how the pictures came out and I hope you guys all have a great Christmas!

12 Christmas Questions Tag

Hi Everyone,

I am currently babysitting but I am babysitting someone in hotel, meaning I have to sit here in the dark in silence ( I have my headphones into my laptop and am catching up on You tube whilst blogging. I even feel like the typing is too loud!)

I know I have just done the Christmas tag part 1 and 2 but I also wanted to do the Holiday tag as tags are my favourite to write so her we go!

1. Favourite holiday colours?
Red is definitely my favourite and probably white along with that as they go together nicely and around Christmas is when I wear red a lot. Red nails, red lipstick, red Christmas jumper! I love it!

2. Biggest Holiday pet peeve?
Probably the hype that is created on New Years Eve, I enjoy New Years Eve and I do celebrate it but everyone gets so excited and the ten second count down is huge! I think it is worth getting hyped up about if you are going out but if its a night in people can get very excited!

3. Do you plan ahead or procrastinate?
Well generally I procrastinate but when it comes to Christmas shopping I usually plan ahead. I have been very good with Christmas shopping this year and I had done most of them by the end of the first week in December which I was so proud of because I usually don't have any money to get any but this year I started saving for presents early so I had enough money for them all.

4. How old were you when you stopped believing in Santa?
I think I was about 11, but since that Christmas I have always spent Christmas Eve and day with someone who does still believe in Santa so I still always have to get excited for him coming which I think is nice.

5. Favourite classic and new holiday?
I don't know if there is a 'new' holiday that I celebrate but my favourite classic holiday is Christmas, however I do also love the Summer holidays if that counts as a classic holiday? I don't think it does.

6. Favourite Christmas tradition?
I don't think we have many traditions, the only one we do have when we have Christmas at home is that we all eat bacon sandwiches and have a glass of champagne/or a cup of tea whilst opening presents at about 11'o'clock in the morning which I love as its super family orientated and fun.

7. Real or fake tree?
Fake tree, we used to get real ones but fake are so much easier as you don't need to go out and buy them or squeeze them into your car or clear up after them. I know a lot of people like real trees because of the smell but that doesn't bother me.

8. When do you put the tree up and take it down?
Well as my birthday is at the beginning of December we don't start to celebrate Christmas until about a week after my Birthday. So this year we put the tree up on the 6th of December and I think we take it down after New Year but it just depends when we are home and free as the week after Christmas we do usually go away.

9. Favourite holiday cookie/treat?
Chocolate! I love the boxes of chocolate biscuits and Celebrations. I think these are probably my favourite as they are something that really relate to Christmas and are just so good!

10. Whats at the top of your tree?
We have a pink angel at the top of our tree, I am not sure where it is from but I would prefer a big silver star as I think it would look nicer, however my Mum loves our Angel so we have that every year which matches with our pink theme.

11. Do you decorate outside?
The only way we decorate outside is with a Wreath on our door, and we do put up decorations in the window but nothing else outside.

12. What did you always wish for but never get?
I always wished for a Kitten as I love kittens and would love to have one so much but I never got one!

I hope you enjoyed this blogpost!

My Favourite Christmas Decorations

Hi Everyone,

I know I have already posted my favourite christmas tree decorations but today I am showing you my favourite decorations around the house!

I don't know where any of these are from but I still hope you enjoyed!

The Christmas Tag Part 2

Hi Everyone,

So today I thought I would give you part two of 'The Christmas Tag'.

1) Which holiday do you celebrate?
I don't know if this answer is too straight forward but I celebrate Christmas.

2) What are you doing for the holidays this year?
This year we are spending Christmas at my Godmothers house with my Mum, God brothers and Grandparents and I am so excited! A lot of people don't like spending  Christmas away from their home but I am extremely close with my Godmother and Godbrotwhers so I will feel at home and I think it will be nice to be somewhere different!

3) Whats your favourite holiday drink?
Definitely the gingerbread hot chocolate from Starbucks. I know it is called a gingerbread latte but you can just ask for the hot chocolate version instead. It is so good! If I'm at home and can't get a gingerbread hot chocolate I will usually go for a tea.

4) Candy cane or gingerbread men?
Definitely gingerbread men, not a fan of candy canes.

5) Whats your favourite holiday Christmas song?
Probably the classic Mariah Carey 'All I want for Christmas is you', I am going to be writing a blogpost showing you my Christmas Playlist so look out for that!

6) Whats the weirdest gift you've ever received?
Obviously I am extremely grateful for whatever I receive but to be honest the weirdest one I have ever received was a box of tissues in my stocking. I don't know if this is a tradition in certain countries (like oranges are) but it was such a weird thing to open!

7) Have you ever made a snowman?
Yes a neighbour and me made one about four years ago when it snowed really heavily and we both got the day off so we made a four foot snowman and I was so impressed with it! All the pictures are on a different device so I can't show you a picture but I was so proud of it!

8) What is your favourite winter fragrance?
I don't really have a favourite winter fragrance I just wear whatever is open, I am not fussy.

9) What is at the top of your list this Christmas?
As I have just had my birthday (click to see what I got for that) I was so happy with everything that I got that I haven't asked for much at all for Christmas and I have kind of forgotten about the whole present thing as I have been focusing on getting other people presents! To be honest all I am hoping for is clothes or vouchers for clothes as I really want to get some new winter clothes (mainly jumpers) and my plan is to buy all the new clothes I want in the sales so I can't buy more because everything will be cheaper!

10) What is most important to you about the holidays?
The most important thing to me is being able to have a happy and jolly time with my family and be able to forget about school and enjoy myself during the festive period!

I hope you enjoyed this. I tag any of you reading this to do the winter tag!

The best things about Christmas

Hi Everyone,

So I thought I would write about some of my favourite things about Christmas as December is one of my favourite months.

I love the Christmas time because its when everyone comes together and people around you are all so happy and festive. I love how busy the shops are and how excited people get for buying presents; that's another thing I love is buying presents for people even though it is expensive for the amount I have to buy it is completely worth being able to hand out presents and I love it!

Christmas Eve is probably my favourite day around Christmas as this is the build up and everyone is so excited, obviously this is when Santa visits too and I think it is better than Christmas day because Christmas day goes really quickly but Christmas Eve is when everyone gets excited and usually when people travel down if they are spending Christmas elsewhere.

Writing this has made me super excited and I hope you enjoyed this post!

The Christmas Tag - Part 1

Hi Everyone,

So to begin the Christmas blogposts I thought I would do a Christmas tag, one of favourite blogposts to write!

1. Whats your favourite holiday movie?
This would definitely be 'The Holiday' I love this movie so much as it is so heartwarming and super Christmassy!

2. Whats your Favourite Christmas Colour?
I feel like this would have to be red because that is the most popular Christmas colour and I think its suits me with my dark hair. It is the one time of year where you can get away with wearing red everything; red nails, red lips and red Christmas jumpers!

3. Do you like to stay in your Pj's or dress up for Christmas?
Well the tradition in our house is to dress up which I don't really get because we don't go out so I like the idea of staying in my onesie and binging on chocolate but I do think its nice to go half way so my ideal outfit would be a fancy top with white jeans and festive makeup which is better than wearing a dress as that not my kind of thing! So that when pictures are taken you can look back and be happy that you put makeup on and made an effort to look nice.

4. If you could only buy one person a present this year who would it be?
This would definitely be my Mum as she is someone that is extremely close to me and I idolise her. I definitely think she deserves it after everything she has done and paid for, for me so definitely my Mum.

5. Do you open your present Christmas Eve or Christmas Morning?
We always open our presents on Christmas morning, there are times where I have opened one present on Christmas Eve because I have persuaded Mum as I was too excited but its always Christmas Morning after having a bacon sandwich and a glass of champagne!

6. Have you ever built a ginger bread house?
Yes I have and it was a big fail! It was so difficult to make it stay together and I really struggled as the icing which was meant to be the glue did not keep the gingerbread together and it just really didn't work! I don't know how people make theirs look so good!

7. What do you like to do on your Christmas break?
On my Christmas break I like to make the most of Christmas and do Christmas themed things; such as Ice skating, Christmas shopping, Christmas parties, Christmas movie days and just spend a lot of time with my Friends!

8. Any Christmas Wishes?
A Christmas Wish would be that all my Family, Friends and Myself are happy and healthy over Christmas and in the New Year and just that everyone genuinely has a good time!

9. Favourite Christmas Smell?
Definitely cinnamon! I love any candle that has a cinnamon scent and anything I walk past that has Cinnamon I will always stop and smell it because I love it and it makes me feel all warm!

10. Favourite Christmas meal or teat?
My favourite Christmas meal would have to be the roast dinner and my favourite treat would probably be all of the chocolate that is available.

Favourite Youtubers

Hi everyone,

You tube is something I enjoy watching when I get home from school and on a Sunday with a cup of tea, so today I thought I would give you a list of some of my favourite you tubers; big and small.

Big Youtubers -

Zoella and MoreZoella - This probably isn't a surprise to many of you as she does have 9 million subscribers so a lot of people are a fan of hers! But theres something about her main channel videos and vlogs that means I can watch them even if they were an hour and a half long! She's just so lovely and positive! Zoe was the first youtube I watched and I instantly loved her!

Alfie Deyes - I much prefer Alfies vlogs to main channel videos but I like to watch them everyday if I can; especially now that he lives with Zoe and Nala I love to see what their all up to as a family and Alfie is just so bubbly and loud, everyday he gets up to something meaning his vlogs are fun to watch.

Sacconejolys - The sacconejolys are so addictive I love watching them everyday, I'm one of those people who always likes something on in the background when I'm on my own whilst I'm tidying my room, or blogging. I like to watch their vlogs the night they put the video up or a lot of the time I will watch the vlog the next morning whilst I'm doing my makeup. I just love seeing Emilia and Eduardo growing, they are at such a fun age and Jonathan does an amazing job of vlogging everyday no matter what is going on in his and Anna's personal life he still continues to vlog, edit and upload which I admire.

The Michalaks - Theres seems to be a pattern of vloggers I think its because they are much easier to watch and have on in the background rather than having to concentrate on main channel videos. Every Sunday the Michalaks are usually the first to upload so I always look forward to that as Steph's editing skills are flawless and Grayson is probably the cutest child ever, so happy and smiley. I think they deserve so much appreciation as they go out of their way to get stunning montages and Steph will usually take a whole Sunday to edit.

Velvetgh0st - I have always enjoyed Gabby's vlogs compared to her main channel as there is something I love about them, even when she does nothing I still enjoy her vlogs, she makes me laugh and is just crazy in the way she thinks and does things! I do still enjoy her main channel video just not as much.

Small Youtubers -

Sarah Close1 - Sarah is a singer, might I add a fabulous singer who most of the time I prefer her covers to the original, she isn't small as she has roughly the same amount of subscribers as The Michalaks but I feel like she isn't as known in the Youtube community as much. She seems super lovely and always says how she likes having a "smaller" youtube community than people with one million because she can recognise her subscribers which I think is lovely.

Eve Bennett - I am so proud of Eve as I think she has done so well with growing her channel so much in such a small amount of time. Recently I have noticed that Eve's lighting, editing and filming skills have improved so much and I am a big fan of her videos. She is another youtuber who is super down to earth and I like how her videos are chatty I am also amazed that she is putting up videos to such good quality at a young age whilst juggling school and work especially now that she is in Yr 11 which is a very busy time!

Kerry Dyer - I am obsessed with Kerry Dyer's videos at the moment, she has around 4,000 subscribers I think, I am enjoying her videos because she has just moved house, she is five moths pregnant and has a three year old daughter so at the moment her videos are always fun and have a lot going on!

Theodora Lee - Theo has grown so much! She didn't start her channel very long ago but already is very popular and is again very down to Earth and real with all her subscribers.

Ok so I think that is everyone! Most of you have probably heard of a lot of these people but if there are any you haven't heard of then go and check them out! I have linked the channels which I prefer the most, either vlog or main channel :)

Mac Lipstick

Hey everyone!

Hope you are all ok! Sorry I haven't blogged in a while, I haven't had a chance to blog so I am catching up now!

Yesterday I went into an outlet shop, with a load of high end makeup reduced. So as there was such a great deal I decided to buy my first ever Mac lipstick. This was my first high end purchase which was really exciting! I already have a few benefit products but they were all presents.

As this was an outlet shop there wasn't as much variety in colour but I knew the first thing I wanted to buy from Mac was a lipstick. So out of the limited variety I decided to go with a plum colour as that's my favourite shade during Autumn and Winter.

The lipstick was £15 reduced to £10.50! Which I think is an amazing deal! I love the lipstick! It is so pigmented and lasts around 6 hours! I love it and will definitely be saving up for more as it is a lot of money but worth it! The matte lipstick is in the shade "Absolute Power" and once on the lips is a cranberry colour.

Comment your favourite Mac lipstick down below!

Bye xo
