My Favourite... Hair Mask

Hi Everyone,

Today's weekly series for My Favourite... is a hair mask.

I have been loving the Lee Stafford hair mask; I first bought it because I heard it from Velvetgh0st and she said it was the main reason her hair had been growing so I thought I would try it out and see if it helped my hair grow. I have only been using it about two months and apparently it takes three months to start working so I am not sure if it completely helps my hair grow but it does make my hair feel amazing. After I have rinsed this out and my hair has dries it smells so much nicer and looks way shinier too. I get a lot more compliments after using this and I just love how my hair feels.

I have used a lot of hair masks but this is definitely my favourite so far and I really think it is worth the £8.49 which I know seems a lot at first but it does last quite a while and leaves your hair feeling in such good condition!

I have written a Hair mask review if you want to check that out!

Autumn and WinternShoe Collection

Hi Everyone,

These are my Autumnal shoes that I wear through Autumn and Winter, although I am looking for anemone pair to complete my collection!

 1. My white Converse; these have become very tattered but they are definitely a statement piece in my wardrobe!

2. My black ankle boots from H&M which were about £30 and go with pretty much everything!

3. I decided to go with grey converse as I was so obsessed with white converse I thought it would be useful to try them in another colour.
4. Black and white plimsolls have been really in recently and seemed like another staple piece of footwear so I invested in these ones from New Look and they were around £12 which I think is such a good price.

Why I started blogging...

Hi Everyone,

So I thought I would write a post on why I started blogging.

I decided to start a blog one day because I wanted somewhere I could write whatever I wanted whether that was about makeup, hair, my thoughts or anything else and I wouldn't have to worry about what people would think because if they liked it they would read it and if they didn't like it then they wouldn't read it! I was never very good at constantly uploading blogposts every day, every week or every month so most of the time I just didn't upload because I wasn't in the mood for writing which is why I decided to start posting everyday.

I thought posting everyday would help motivate me to make my blog better and to give it more content so that's what I did from the 30th September (7 weeks ago) I am pretty proud I have been posting for 7 weeks now and I am also happy that my blog now has way more content for people to read about lots of different subjects and I can post whatever. I am really enjoying being able to post Autumnal themed blogposts and I will be doing the same in December and Summer.

Anyway I hope you enjoyed this post!

Bold Autumnal Makeup Routine

Hi Everyone,

So when Autumn hits I always go straight for bold lips but I thought for this tutorial I would show you my going out makeup. I have acne so this tutorial does include very heavy base makeup but obviously you can change this depending on your skin.

1. After moisturising I use my mini Porefessional primer from Benefit all over my face
2. Then I use the Maybelline age rewind concealer under my eyes
3. Next is my foundation which is the 3 in 1 Covergirl foundation in 'ivory' with the Real Techniques Stippling brush.
4. After my foundation if there are any visible blemishes then I use the Along came Betty concealer to cover them.
5. To set my foundation I used the Avon smooth minerals powder foundation in 'nude' with my Flormar stippling brush.

6. So for my eyes I used the W7 'In the buff' eyeshadow palettehttp://www.w7cosmetics.co.uk/product/in-the-buff-2/
- First of all I put a gold/bronze colour all over the lid (second from the left) with the Real Techniques base shadow brush
- Then I put a dark brown colour in the crease (second from the right) and I blend it into the bronze colour in the outer corner with the Real Techniques base shadow brush.
- Lastly I used a light white colour (first on the left) and put it in the inner corner of my eye to make it pop with the fine liner brush.

7. I curl my eyelashes with my Ted Baker eyelash curlers
8. Then I use Natural Collection clear mascara to protect my eyelashes
9. Followed by the 17 Wild curl 10 hour hold mascara
10. I fill in my eyebrows with Maybelline Brow drama 'dark brown'
11. Lastly I went for a dark lip from Collection Gothic Glam range in 'seduction'

i have linked everything I can find but I hope you enjoyed this post!

Snippet of my Room No.1

Hi Everyone,

So I thought I would show you one section of my room; this is only a small part and I will post more.

So on top of my five drawers I keep most of my hair, perfumes and skin products. I like to have a lot of my products out so that I remember to use them up otherwise they would sit in drawers and never get used! This is also where my Macbook is kept along with some snacks and a picture frame. The drawers are from Ikea if you were wondering and if you have any more questions about where other things are from feel free to ask!

My Favourite... Tv Show

Hi Everyone,

So it is the weekly series of 'My Favourite...'

I don't watch TV shows that much as there isn't much I enjoy but I'm probably stuck between two.

One would be Goggle box; I am obsessed with Goggle box and I never thought I would enjoy a show where you watch other people watch TV but it is honestly so good and hilarious! I think I like it because of how realistic the responses are; my Favourite is definitely Scarlett because she is so funny and really witty, anything she says is so true and I just love her!

My other favourite is I'm a Celebrity get me out of here, I look forward to this programme every year and it has just started so you can imagine how happy was about that! I love how each year they keep the show the same, they never try to jazz it up and it is still so good! It also means Christmas is getting closer as I always remember the show finishes just before Christmas.

I hope you enjoyed this, let me know what your favourite TV show is!

Top four Autumnal lipsticks

Hi Everyone,

Sorry for not posting in a while I have been pretty busy and didn't get a chance to take pictures for the blogposts.

So I am going to show you my top four Autumnal lip products that I always grab when choosing a lip colour; these are the ones I wear in Winter so I probably won't update this in Winter.

All of the lip pictures look the same which is why I have added a picture of the actual lipstick because they are all different colours!

Mac 'Absolute Power' (I think this has been discontinued)

Collection Gothic Glam 'Seduction' (I think this has also been discontinued)

I hope you enjoyed this, sorry that two of them have been discontinued!

Favourite place in England

Hi Everyone,

There are so many amazing places in England that are really pretty and relaxing; however my favourite place in England other than where I live which is a super lovely place by the way is London. The shops are amazing and it has such a good vibe because its so busy! Most people would think I would like somewhere like Cornwall or Devon etc but I love London as you just know your going to have a good day as there is always something different to do or plenty of places to shop!

This was a much shorter post but its something different.

Top 5 Autumn Nail Colours

Hi Everyone,

So I have A LOT of nail varnishes which means it was pretty hard to choose from all of mine and narrow down five but I managed too! In no particular order here are my five favourite nail varnishes:

Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint 'Pomegranate' This is just an all round favourite shade and usually what I will choose to put on my nails first any time around the year. It looks really red in the picture but its more of a raspberry colour.

L.A Colours Colour Craze 'Hot Blooded' I don't wear red much but I think coming up to and around Christmas is the perfect time to be able to get away with it. I couldn't find a link to this so I'm not sure if its still available but there's a picture of the exact one so it might help you to find it.

Rimmel Lycra Pro '402 Urban Purple' This is just a darker version of the Barry M one but the brush makes the application super easy and mess free!

Essie 'Fiji' This is not your typical Autumn shade but I think its such a good colour to wear because it matches any outfit!
O.P.I 'Yoga-ta get this blue' (Weird colour name) This is much darker than it looks on the website but I love it so much as I think navy looks really pretty on all skin tones.

Autumn Essentials

Hi Everyone,

Today I am going to be showing you some of my autumn essentials as I want to post some more Autumnal blogposts before December.

Obviously everyone needs a good old blanket in Autumn, I have a quilt which I love; its from Laura Ashley and its so nice to have on my bed to keep me warm.

A dark lipstick for me is a must as I am really into lipstick. My favourite is definitely the Collection lipstick in 'Seduction' from the Gothic Glam Halloween range. It is quite dark but the more you put on the darker it gets so it doesn't have to be really dark but sometimes I'm in the mood for a really dark lip!

Hot chocolate! My current favourite hot chocolate is the gingerbread one from Starbucks, it is my favourite drink from Starbucks but any hot chocolate is good for me! The classic one is my favourite with marshmallows and cream!

Slippers, as soon as it gets cold I live in slippers, when I wake up they're on, when I get home they're on as my feet are always cold!

Checked Shirt, I am actually wearing my checked shirt today as I was feeling very autumnal but I just think it is so cosy and goes with anything. (Mine is from Asos)

The last one are my black boots from H&M, I get so exited to get them back out of my wardrobe as Autumn approaches and they are probably one of the best things I've ever purchased as I wear them so much and they go with everything.

My Favourite... Lip Balm

Hi Everyone,

My favourite lip balm would have to be Vaseline, all of the Vaseline ones are good but the one I currently have is 'Paint the town red' lip tint. I love it because it does give your lips a slight redder tint but it is subtle so its perfect to wear to school and just adds a little more to my makeup.

The only problem which I know a lot of people get is that you have to use your finger in the pot and I hate that! I prefer the sticks of lip balm but I do seriously love this lip balm however it was limited edition at one point so I'm not sure if its still available in Boots but I found it on Amazon so it is still available for £2.10.

Netflix Recommendations

Hi Everyone,

Today I am going to be telling you my favourite things to watch on Netflix,

- Pretty Little Liars. I love Pll I have finished it now and am so excited for the new ones to come out. I enjoyed it so much and yes I was happy with how they revealed A i think it was super clever. I'm pretty sure you've all heard of Pll so I'm not going to describe what its about but if you haven't seen it go and watch it!

- Gossip Girl. Since finishing Pll I have began watching Gossip Girl in my spare time, I am now on season four and i do enjoy but not as much as Pretty little liars because with Gossip Girl its not as intense so there are times when I find myself not really concentrating and I just have it on in the background whilst blogging or cleaning room and stuff like that. However I do enjoy and would recommend it if your looking for something to watch

- Black fish. This is a documentary. Before you continue reading as you've heard documentary and aren't interested anymore just listen. I didn't realise this was a documentary when I clicked on it but once it began I enjoyed every minute. Its as long as a film (1hr 25 min's) which usually I would hate as I don't have that attention span but I found myself enticed by it. It is a documentary revealing the truth about Sea world and it honestly opened my eyes so much about how badly the animals are treated and how horrendous the habitat they are kept in are. It made me realise if I ever got the opportunity to go to Sea world I would not, it is disgraceful and now I understand why so many people dislike it so much. I really would recommend you to watch it; if you don't like it that's fine but just try it out.

I don't really watch much as i don't often have the attention span for films as they are too long and I get bored which is why I watch TV programmes so I can click off it if I get bored. I hope you enjoyed this.

Recent Thoughts

Hi Everyone,

I have another 'recent thoughts' post for you. This week was long and fairly stressful I had a deadline day where everything was due in for Fridays deadline which meant I was ready for the weekend. I attempted to start my Christmas shopping on Saturday and ended up getting two presents which weren't even that exciting as I soon realised once I got into the shopping mall I didn't know what anyone wanted so I couldn't really get anything. I wanted to start Christmas shopping early so I could be prepared and tart wrapping them too, that way I could even out the amount of money I am spending on them rather than spending all of that money into weeks because that's what I usually do! Then Saturday night I went to friends party which was so nice as I met loads of new people and before we went I was pretty nervous because I had been given the wrong impression of all the new people, but I soon realised they were actually lovely. It just proves that you should always push yourself into new environments with new people because the majority of the time you will enjoy yourself and end up looking back on it really happy with yourself that you went. Today I didn't have any work so I have just been writing loads of blogposts (I'm on my fifth) I have also sent out my birthday wish list to people which is exciting! I love making lists; I'm one of those people that makes list of list of lists of things I need to do, buy, find, get rid of and many more! The Christmas music has also began; I don't know why I have excepted Christmas this early as I usually don't think about Christmas until after my birthday (which is in December) but this year I am! I think its because we are spending Christmas somewhere different and I am excited for it!

Anyway I enjoyed this blogpost today, I like thinking back about what I have done over the week and I am going to make sure I do this more often!

October Favourites

Hi Everyone,

I have never written a post about my 'favourites' as I don't usually have anything that stands out to me as being my favourite but I thought I would try it out!

So recently I had my hair cut into layers and before I had just long hair with no fringe, no layers; nothing. Before I could always get away with it being natural and not needing to straighten it for it to look ok. However since I've had it cut my hair looks a lot more puffy and huge if I don't do anything with it so I have started straightening it after I have washed it which is about twice a week as I only have to wash my hair every three days. (Finishes ramble) What I'm trying to say is that I have been loving my hair straighteners because I didn't use them much before but now I am obsessed and love them! They are the Cloud nine straighteners and I won't go into detail here as I will do a separate review on them but I love how much nicer and sleeker my hair looks once I have straightened it!

Another one of my favourites is the Clinique lipstick I received in my Glamour magazine which I did a review of here. I just really like the colour 'cherry pop' as it is something different but look so good and is very moisturising!

My favourite youtubers last month I think was probably 'Sacconejolys' as I have been loving their vlogs and I watch them every morning whilst having breakfast, they are such a lovely family and are so happy and enjoyable to watch.

My favourite song is definitely Adele 'Hello' this month as it is so nice to hear Adele's voice again after so long of her not bringing anything out an I cannot wait for her new album!

I think that is pretty much it for my favourites as there isn't much else I can think of but I hope you enjoyed and if you want this to be a monthly thing then let me know!
