Favourite Autumnal Candles

Hi Everyone,

Incase you hadn't guessed from the title I am going to show you my favourite autumnal candles.

Glade 'Warm Spice'

Yankee Candle 'Warm Spice'

I know I have mentioned these candles before and I know they have the same name, and I know there are only two on this blogpost but these are honestly my favourite as they both smell of cinnamon and I love them!

OOTD

Hi Everyone,

Todays post is very short but you have had a lot of long ones and there are more long ones to come.

So I wore my Converse hoodie with my black River Island Mollie Jeans with my New Look Plimsolls.

Lazy Day routine: Autumn

Hi Everyone,

So usually my lazy days are Sundays and as its getting much colder now I am likely to stay in away from the cold and rain; its just always been known as our lazy days so that's what I do!

I wake up anytime from 10-12 usually and I firstly have breakfast and watch you tube for about an hour as Sunday is the day everyone uploads so I like to try and keep up with them!

Then I cleanse my face, clean my teeth and get changed for the day. Sunday I wash my hair so I don't really ever wear makeup or put get dressed up (basically I don't wear jeans) as I will end up taking it all off so I just put on leggings and a hoodie.

After I have face timed my Dad for about 30 minutes I will usually sit and write blogposts or take blogpost pictures as I like to be caught up on blogposts whilst watching Gossip girl.

After doing that for probably around two hours I will have lunch with my Mum, we usually have a big meal at about three o clock but not always a Sunday Roast.

Then we will watch some TV (we are loving Nashville at the moment).

If I have any work to do I will get that done and then I will probably wash my hair at about seven o clock.

After washing my hair I will go downstairs make myself something to eat and watch some TV with my Mum again as this is when we can both relax. Tonight we watched 'I'm a celebrity get me out of here!'

At about 9pm I will have a cup of tea with something sweet, a chocolate biscuit usually and then wrap some Christmas presents as I have been extremely organised with Christmas presents this year and have bought them all early!

Then I will go upstairs, get into bed and watch some more You tube and go to sleep at about 11:30pm.

I hope you enjoyed this!

My Autumn Base

Hi Everyone,

I thought I would tell you what foundation I have been using through Autumn as it has actually changed. So recently I wanted to change up my foundation because I have about five and I am really trying to get through them so I can go and try out new ones! I was using a No.7 foundation and it had pretty much run out so I though I would go back to another one I had open to try and use it up!

I decided to go back to the Cover girl 3 in 1 foundation as I had been using it before hand but it was quite cakey for me and I wasn't a huge fan of how thick it looked on my skin which is why I had been using the No.7. However whilst using the No.7 my skin had broken out very badly (not because of the foundation) so I though I would go back to Cover girl for a thicker coverage.

When the foundation first goes on it looks quite pale however if you build it, it can go much darker making me look orange so I have to be careful with how much I apply. It is good coverage and it does stay on all day so I do like it however I don't like how orange it becomes because I do struggle with getting the right amount so I look the same colour as my neck.

Autumn and WinternShoe Collection

Hi Everyone,

These are my Autumnal shoes that I wear through Autumn and Winter, although I am looking for anemone pair to complete my collection!

 1. My white Converse; these have become very tattered but they are definitely a statement piece in my wardrobe!

2. My black ankle boots from H&M which were about £30 and go with pretty much everything!

3. I decided to go with grey converse as I was so obsessed with white converse I thought it would be useful to try them in another colour.
4. Black and white plimsolls have been really in recently and seemed like another staple piece of footwear so I invested in these ones from New Look and they were around £12 which I think is such a good price.

Bold Autumnal Makeup Routine

Hi Everyone,

So when Autumn hits I always go straight for bold lips but I thought for this tutorial I would show you my going out makeup. I have acne so this tutorial does include very heavy base makeup but obviously you can change this depending on your skin.

1. After moisturising I use my mini Porefessional primer from Benefit all over my face
2. Then I use the Maybelline age rewind concealer under my eyes
3. Next is my foundation which is the 3 in 1 Covergirl foundation in 'ivory' with the Real Techniques Stippling brush.
4. After my foundation if there are any visible blemishes then I use the Along came Betty concealer to cover them.
5. To set my foundation I used the Avon smooth minerals powder foundation in 'nude' with my Flormar stippling brush.

6. So for my eyes I used the W7 'In the buff' eyeshadow palettehttp://www.w7cosmetics.co.uk/product/in-the-buff-2/
- First of all I put a gold/bronze colour all over the lid (second from the left) with the Real Techniques base shadow brush
- Then I put a dark brown colour in the crease (second from the right) and I blend it into the bronze colour in the outer corner with the Real Techniques base shadow brush.
- Lastly I used a light white colour (first on the left) and put it in the inner corner of my eye to make it pop with the fine liner brush.

7. I curl my eyelashes with my Ted Baker eyelash curlers
8. Then I use Natural Collection clear mascara to protect my eyelashes
9. Followed by the 17 Wild curl 10 hour hold mascara
10. I fill in my eyebrows with Maybelline Brow drama 'dark brown'
11. Lastly I went for a dark lip from Collection Gothic Glam range in 'seduction'

i have linked everything I can find but I hope you enjoyed this post!

Top four Autumnal lipsticks

Hi Everyone,

Sorry for not posting in a while I have been pretty busy and didn't get a chance to take pictures for the blogposts.

So I am going to show you my top four Autumnal lip products that I always grab when choosing a lip colour; these are the ones I wear in Winter so I probably won't update this in Winter.

All of the lip pictures look the same which is why I have added a picture of the actual lipstick because they are all different colours!

Mac 'Absolute Power' (I think this has been discontinued)

Collection Gothic Glam 'Seduction' (I think this has also been discontinued)

I hope you enjoyed this, sorry that two of them have been discontinued!

Top 5 Autumn Nail Colours

Hi Everyone,

So I have A LOT of nail varnishes which means it was pretty hard to choose from all of mine and narrow down five but I managed too! In no particular order here are my five favourite nail varnishes:

Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint 'Pomegranate' This is just an all round favourite shade and usually what I will choose to put on my nails first any time around the year. It looks really red in the picture but its more of a raspberry colour.

L.A Colours Colour Craze 'Hot Blooded' I don't wear red much but I think coming up to and around Christmas is the perfect time to be able to get away with it. I couldn't find a link to this so I'm not sure if its still available but there's a picture of the exact one so it might help you to find it.

Rimmel Lycra Pro '402 Urban Purple' This is just a darker version of the Barry M one but the brush makes the application super easy and mess free!

Essie 'Fiji' This is not your typical Autumn shade but I think its such a good colour to wear because it matches any outfit!
O.P.I 'Yoga-ta get this blue' (Weird colour name) This is much darker than it looks on the website but I love it so much as I think navy looks really pretty on all skin tones.

Autumn Essentials

Hi Everyone,

Today I am going to be showing you some of my autumn essentials as I want to post some more Autumnal blogposts before December.

Obviously everyone needs a good old blanket in Autumn, I have a quilt which I love; its from Laura Ashley and its so nice to have on my bed to keep me warm.

A dark lipstick for me is a must as I am really into lipstick. My favourite is definitely the Collection lipstick in 'Seduction' from the Gothic Glam Halloween range. It is quite dark but the more you put on the darker it gets so it doesn't have to be really dark but sometimes I'm in the mood for a really dark lip!

Hot chocolate! My current favourite hot chocolate is the gingerbread one from Starbucks, it is my favourite drink from Starbucks but any hot chocolate is good for me! The classic one is my favourite with marshmallows and cream!

Slippers, as soon as it gets cold I live in slippers, when I wake up they're on, when I get home they're on as my feet are always cold!

Checked Shirt, I am actually wearing my checked shirt today as I was feeling very autumnal but I just think it is so cosy and goes with anything. (Mine is from Asos)

The last one are my black boots from H&M, I get so exited to get them back out of my wardrobe as Autumn approaches and they are probably one of the best things I've ever purchased as I wear them so much and they go with everything.

10 Random Autumn/Winter Questions Tag

Hi Everyone,

Today I thought I'd do another tag as they are my favourite to write!

1. What item of clothing do you love to wear in winter but wouldn’t be seen wearing it in public?

Probably my onesie as it is super warm and cosy but my onesie is a fox and I know I would get millions of stares for wearing that in public!

2. Most wanted item for autumn/winter?

Loads more chunky knit jumpers or sweatshirts as they are addictive and I always get drawn to them in shops because I can never have too many!

3. Favourite boots to wear in winter?

My favourite boots to wear in Winter are 100% my H&M Suede boots. They are so comfortable and really easy to walk in. They do have a four inch heel but I love them and think they were so affordable! (£29.99)

4. Are you a fan of UGG boots?

Ok so I am mixed on Ugg boots, I have a tan pair of uggs and I think they are super comfortable and really warm; I used to live in them over the Winter. However I don't think they are the prettiest of shoes and I never wear them outside unless it is to babysitting, I wear the boots I mentioned above instead. I don't see a problem with them on anyone else but I personally am not a fan much anymore.

5. Its snowing/raining outside, what are your favourite wellies to wear?

I was brought a pair of pink Joules wellies about four years ago but they are now a size five and I'm a size six so I always have to squeeze my feet into them! I love them though!

6. What is your favourite autumn trend?

Chunky knitted jumpers and black boots! A simple but effective outfit!

7. Do you like or dislike that it’s starting to get dark?

I like it, it makes me feel cosy. I think a lot of people don't like it because it makes them realise its nearly Winter but that gets me excited! However I don't like it when I'm out on the weekends as I hate walking around in the dark.

8.What is your typical winter/autumn day consisting of?

Writing blogposts, drinking tea, burning candles and watching Netflix or Youtube as well as obviously seeing friends and family!

9.What’s your favourite color to wear on your lips in winter?

Plum! I go for a plum lipstick straight away and I love it!

10.Christmas is coming, do you have any idea of what you want?

Well my birthday is also in December so I think I will ask for a joint Birthday and Christmas present. I am uploading my birthday/christmas Wishlist soon so look out for that!

I hope you enjoyed this tag!

Halloween Makeup Tutorial - Backwards Skeleton

Hi Everyone,

So today I was feeling extremely creative and was really in the mood to try out some Halloween makeup! I am actually very happy with how this look turned out and I kind of made it up as I went along which is why the name is odd because I don't really know what this is! Anyway if you want to see how I made the look then carry on reading!

I am going to be referring to the two Pictures to show you what I used along the way.

For the 'Base Makeup'

A - Benefit Professional Primer
B - Maybelline Anti Age Eraser under eye concealer
C - Along came Betty All Concealed Concealer Kit
D - Real Techniques Stippling Brush
E - No.7 Essentially Natural Foundation 'Calico
F - Avon Smooth Minerals powder foundation
G - Flormar Stippling brush
H - Maybelline Brow drama brow mascara 'dark'
I - Soap and Glory Solar Powder Bronzer
J - Benefit Powder brush (used for contouring)
K - Real Techniques Contour Brush

So the first step for this look is to perfect your face base. Your everyday makeup will be fine; here's how I did mine.

1. I used 'A' all over my face to make sure my makeup stayed put all day.
2. Then I used 'B' under my eyes to cover up any dark circles!
3. 'C' was used for my blemishes all over my face!
4. I then used 'D' to blend in 'E'
5. To set all of this I used 'F' with 'G'
6. Then I brushed through my eyebrows with 'H'
7. Next I did a bit of bronzer, not too much but just enough to look slightly bronzed using 'I' and 'J'
8. Lastly I blended the bronzer with 'K'

For the 'Halloween Look'

1 - W7 'In the Buff' Palette shade 'Thunder'
2 - Barbara Daly base eyeshadow brush
3 - 17 Palette (the colours don't have names) White eyeshadow
4 - 17 Palette (the colours don't have names) Silver Eyeshadow
5 - 17 Palette (the colours don't have names) Brown eyeshadow
6 - 17 Palette (the colours don't have names) Black eyeshadow
7 - Real Techniques 'Fine Liner Brush'
8 - Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush
9 - Black pencil eyeliner
10 - White pencil eyeliner or lip liner
11 - Black liquid eyeliner
12 - Eco Tools full eyeshadow brush
13 - Real Techniques Detailer Brush
14 - Kiko Red Lipstick '908'
15 - Ted Baker Eyelash Curlers
16 - Natural Collection clear mascara (I always put clear mascara on before black mascara so you don't need this.)
17 - 17 Wild Curls Mascara

Ok so here's a step by step of what to do after you have finished your base makeup; when I say numbers I am referring to the products above.

For YOUR right hand side of your face:

1. Using '6' eyeshadow with '7' brush start from the inner corners of YOUR right eye and draw a circle up and around your eye and finish by bringing the circle to an end in the right hand corner of your eye.
2. Then using '6' eyeshadow and '2' brush shade in the base of your eyelid so your whole eye is filled in and go under the eye, beneath the water line with this colour and this brush. (The underneath doesn't have to be neat)
3. Then using '11' draw a normal everyday cat eye flick, it can be a big dramatic cat flick if you want it to but make sure the cat flick finishes within the black circle of eyeshadow. Also only do a flick, don't go along the top of your eyelid.
4. Next I used '9' to fill in both of my eyebrows even though this is black, you want your eyebrows to look really dark and dramatic. I know I used my brow drama from Maybelline in the base section but that was really subtle so didn't matter. You can choose what you want to do with your brows.
5. Then I used '15' to curl my eyelashes.
6. I applied '16'
7. Then I applied '17' to add more definition to my eyes.

Now for the middle of your face:

1. Using '9' draw a straight thin line down the centre of your face up to the middle of your eyes.
2. Then starting from somewhere along the line you have just drawn, draw a jagged line towards your right eye and make it meet with the inner corner of your eye.
3. Then do the same as above for your left eye.
4. For your nose, you can kind of make it up, I used '9' again as its the easiest to draw with but you can always use liquid eyeliner if you want. Just make your nose look defined by following your nose bone and then shade in the tip of your nose.
5. Continue drawing a line from the tip of your nose, to your mouth, through your mouth and to the bottom of your face again I used '9'.

For YOUR left hand side of your face:

1. Using '6' eyeshadow with '7' brush start from the inner corners of YOUR left eye and draw a circle down and underneath your eye and finish by bringing the circle to an end in the left hand corner of your eye.
2. Then using '1' and '5' eyeshadow and '2' brush shade in the base of your eyelid so your whole eye is filled in and go under the eye in '6' beneath the water line with this colour and this brush. (The underneath doesn't have to be neat)
3. Then using '11' draw a cat eye flick, it can be a big dramatic cat flick if you want it to but make sure the cat flick finishes within the black circle of eyeshadow. I made this sides flick bigger and thicker. Also only do a flick, don't go along the top of your eyelid.
4. I then used '9' to draw two more jagged lines from anywhere from your eye to your eyebrow. You can do as many lines as your like, but I only did this on my left hand side to make it look more dramatic.
5. Then I used '15' to curl my eyelashes.
6. I applied '16'
7. Then I applied '17' to add more definition to my eyes.

For YOUR right hand side of your mouth:
1. I used '13' brush to apply '14' lipstick. You can use lip liner too if you like but I didn't.

For YOUR left hand side of your mouth:
1. So firstly I used '10' to fill in my top and bottom lips.
2. Then I outlined my lips with either '9' or '11'
3. With '9' I drew the outline of the teeth and the extended line to the left of my mouth.
4. Next, with '10' I coloured in all the teeth.
5. Lastly I closed my mouth and crew a line through the middle of my lips from the left to centre to help resemble the skeleton mouth and define it more.
